Edward Jones signs new extended contract for ADP Wilco's Tarot system

ADP Wilco, a subsidiary of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (NYSE: ADP), has announced that Edward Jones Limited has signed a new seven-year contract to use ADP Wilco’s retail stockbroking system, Tarot.

This new agreement means the Edward Jones, an established user of the Tarot system, will continue to use Tarot across its centralized UK back office operations for the processing of international and domestic UK equities and collective instruments such as ISAs.

Earlier in 2003, Edward Jones extended its customer services through Tarot’s order placement functionality for principal processing, enabling Edward Jones to offer its inventory of corporate and government bonds to investment clients through its growing multi-branch network in the UK.

Allan J. Anderson, Principal United Kingdom, Edward Jones Limited, said: "Our new contract with ADP Wilco underlines our commitment to deliver leading edge services to our retail investors across the UK."

Edward Jones has maintained a long-term relationship with ADP for more than 20 years, and last year signed a multi-year contract to continue outsourcing its North American securities transaction processing to ADP.
