The implementation of HiMessaging underlines the importance of Straight Through Processing (STP) to Gartmore. The HiMessaging solution facilitates full STP for trade confirmation by providing validation, data enrichment and internal matching for equity and fixed income instruments. DSTi worked closely with Gartmore project staff to define and develop the required business solution. The
implementation was part of a project to move the trade confirmation process to link to the front office rather than the back office systems. Additionally, the HiMessaging architecture allows Gartmore to enhance the environment easily to
take advantage of current and future trade processing industry initiatives.
DSTi has a licence agreement to supply HelioGraphâs messaging technology under the HiMessaging brand name. Significant developments have been undertaken by DSTi to tailor HiMessaging to its clientsâ needs. Mr Edkins said, "This is the fourteenth and most complex solution we have installed globally utilising
HelioGraph technology. It further strengthens the partnership between our two companies."
