May 30th 2003: Dealing With Technology - Iris Financial Systems, a leading provider of tailored component-based financial software solutions, has recently appointed Sundeep Dadlani as the Practice Director of its New York office at 100 Wall Street.

Dadlani brings extensive business experience gained through senior positions at Morgan Stanley. In his capacity as Executive Director in the Fixed Income division he focused on technology strategy for the company’s Global High Yield desk covering high yield and emerging market bonds, loans and distressed issues. Before that, Dadlani spent several years in Morgan Stanley’s Information Technology division, building and managing trading and risk technology across various areas within Fixed Income.

As Iris Financial's New York Practice Director he will be responsible for managing global relationships with major financial organisations as well as the implementation of applications developed using Iris Financial’s Component Services Architecture (CSA).

Sundeep Dadlani, Practice Director – New York, comments:

"Iris Financial’s component technology delivers tailored solutions with a high level of code re-use - which investment banks have tried to attain for many years.

There is a need in the financial services industry for technology solutions that use standardised, shared, modular services that facilitate front-to-back processing across the business. Iris Financial has the domain knowledge, Java/J2EE technology and business building blocks, development process and track record on the street to satisfy this industry-wide need."
