Financial Technologies International comes out on top in The Banker Technology Awards

StreetReference clinches first place in the reference data category

LONDON - June 3, 2003 - Financial Technologies International (FTI), a leading provider of financial enterprise software, has won the reference data category of The Banker 2003 Technology Awards. StreetReference, FTI's ground-breaking reference data platform, helped it secure first prize out of 11 solution providers. Winners will be formally announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday June 3 at Vinopolis in London, England.

The success of StreetReference is a testament to its innovative approach to solving the industry's reference data demands. Through its recent partnership with Telekurs Financial, FTI is able to offer clients a complete integrated reference data management solution, combining the rich functionality of FTI's StreetReference platform with the comprehensive data content of Valordata Feed (VDFTM) from Telekurs Financial. This "shrink-wrapped" solution known as 'StreetReference with Telekurs' reduces implementation time, gives greater control over exceptions processing and delivers consistent on-demand information in real time. FTI is currently looking to undertake similar collaborations with other leading data vendors.

Michael Meriton, president and CEO, FTI, says: "We are proud to have been
recognised by The Banker as the premium provider of reference data solutions. We are dedicated to continually enhancing our reference data offering, as the recent partnership with Telekurs demonstrates. This collaboration combines a trusted data source with a rapid end-to-end platform, giving clients access to total, high-quality reference data. Winning The Banker Technology Award reinforces FTI's leading position in the reference data management space, clearly differentiating us from our peers and highlighting our commitment to meeting customer expectations through robust and scalable solutions that clearly focus on industry needs."

The Banker Technology Awards reward best of breed, innovation and success in financial institutions. They aim to provide financial institutions worldwide with information about key business areas and the technological expertise that exists within them, and to highlight those vendors who have made a real contribution to advancing shareholder value and customer service within financial institutions over the past 12 months.
