Financial Architects (FinArch), an international provider of business intelligence and financial reporting software, has signed a Value-Added Reseller agreement with Business Objects.
Under the agreement FinArch will be able to embed Business Objects software as a front-end option into Financial Studio, FinArch's suite of analysis and reporting components addressing banks' internal and external reporting needs including financial accounting, profitability, solvency and risk calculation, Basel II and IAS/IFRS reporting as well as regulatory reporting. The integration of Business Objects technology and modules enables easy ad hoc reporting and further enhances the variety of reporting and analysis features to meet the diverse needs of analytic application users.
Financial Studio's open architecture and rich banking data model allow for seamless integration of the Business Objects reporting technologies and thus provides its customers the flexibility to integrate third-party reporting products that complement FinArch's Financial Studio solution. FinArch customers can create analytic reports in their favoured reporting environment, allowing them to preserve existing technology investments.
"With the integration of our technology, FinArch will be able to offer the finance industry an enormous added value in reporting and analysis tools," says Yves Colinet, Country Manager Business Objects Belux. " We are convinced that the combination of these two leading companies will create new important customers and additional projects."
"By embedding Business Objects as an option with our solution, our customers can benefit from a powerful and easy-to-use business intelligence solution to obtain and provide information across the company," says Chantal Sohier, FinArch. "Our Financial Studio solution is continuously upgraded with functional enhancements and responds to the latest market reporting requirements including Basel II compliance and IAS/IFRS accounting. Whenever possible, we also seize the opportunity to enable our customers through technology alliances with industry leaders such as Business Objects."
