Joe Nicholson, Managing Director of Anvil comments, â We are really pleased to have been recognised by The Banker for this award. Our systems are rich in trader-friendly front-office features - but they also encompass many middle and back office functions, such as risk, collateral management, real-time compliance and margin monitoring.â
Nicholson continues, âThe market conditions have been very difficult for our competitors, although weâre having our best year ever! Receiving the award is welcome for the recognition it gives our products and us. Our ambitious development plans for Anvil ARTS will ensure we remain in a very strong position for the future. Weâve expanded considerably in the last two years, opening offices in New York and Toronto and gaining significant new business in both locations.â
The Banker Technology Awards are designed to provide financial institutions around the world with information about key business areas and the technological expertise that exists within them. These awards recognize best of breed, innovation and success in financial technology. The goal has been to highlight those vendors, large and small, who have made a real contribution to advancing shareholder value and customer service within financial institutions over the past 12 months. There were over 1000 entries for just 41 categories.
Parveen Bansal, Technology Editor of the Banker said, âThe judges were impressed with the application of ARTS for both repo and equity finance at Rabobank, Netherlands. ARTS was shown to have improved internal processes and realised significant cost savings and reduced operational risk from manual error.â
