First introduced in 1999, TradeFlow is designed to reduce the total cost of ownership of building and maintaining single window access to all internal and external integration points for securities Straight-Through-Processing. This means TradeFlow will consolidate the technical infrastructure needed to connect to services such as SWIFT, DTC, OMGEO and FIX networks, as well as to internal systems. The TradeFlow workstation then allows a single 'business view' of the complete transaction lifecycle, where users interact with high-risk exception items such as unmatched confirmations or late settlements, without any exposure to the complexities of the different protocols and standards that are used.
In the new release, the TradeFlow workstation functionality can now also be delivered in any standard web browser, allowing TradeFlow users to access operational and management information from any site with intra- or internet access. The ease of deployment combined with the depth of functionality offered in the web client makes the TradeFlow Web Workstation an ideal solution for complex multi-site implementations.
A key benefit of the Web access is the ease with which transaction monitoring and business process monitoring can now be achieved without complex configuration of local client installations. Business Process Monitoring for Financial Services promises to be a unique niche for TradeFlow.
Richard Vreeland, COO at HelioGraph Inc comments: "Exception management and single window access has always been a key strength for TradeFlow. With this new functionality we now have the first solution that effectively combines operational functions with advanced staus and process monitoring. The scalability and portability of the Web Workstation opens up the possibility of pervasive STP across all functions and regions."
Other features of the new release include full OMGEO CTM connectivity and workflow, and extended support of all major operating systems and application server platforms.
