Mighter Gissing To Make ConteX Contributions Solution Available Over RadianzNet

- Using ConteX via the RadianzNet network will enable members to contribute market data to multiple destinations from multiple platforms via a single solution.
- ConteX on RadianzNet will enable institutions to contribute data via direct interbank exchange and create contribution communities.

17th June 2003 - London - Mighter Gissing, the financial data handling specialist, today announced that it has agreed with Radianz to make available its ConteX multivendor market data contributions solution on the RadianzNet global financial extranet.

The ConteX solution enables institutions to contribute real-time prices either by direct interbank exchange to Electronic Communications Networks (ECNs), or to multiple vendors. By using ConteX as a distribution hub, banks and brokerages can simultaneously contribute data to many target audiences via a single routing mechanism, eradicating the need to maintain costly and inefficient point-to-point networks.

ConteX may be used on RadianzNet to connect individual Mighter Gissing client sites via the secure global network. Clients can contribute through RMDS, TIB, Triarch or a TCP/IP-based 'open mechanism'. The data is routed through a central 'Kernel' and converted into the different protocols of each recipient. ConteX is entirely neutral and will contribute data to any vendor as requested by the client.

If required, data can be contributed between institutions without an intermediary data vendor. This makes it possible for banks and brokerages to create contribution communities where data is shared only with selected recipients. This not only reduces institutions' reliance on data vendor systems but also increases their control over who receives their valuable contributed data.

Mighter Gissing's Managing Director, Richard Gissing, comments:

"This arrangement with Radianz is an important development for Mighter Gissing. Offering ConteX on RadianzNet provides our existing clients with the means to further extend their contributions capability and can potentially lead to thousands of new institutions discovering our technology. By using ConteX as a distribution hub, RadianzNet members will be able to rationalise their contributed data networks."

Brennan Carley, chief product and technology officer, Radianz, adds:

"ConteX's multivendor approach is well suited to the RadianzNet model, providing multipoint connection through a single solution. Because Radianz is neutral and is connected to more than 8,500 financial institutions, it is a natural match for Mighter Gissing's multivendor data contributions solution. RadianzNet now offers secure access to more than 100 providers of market data and financial applications and we are pleased to welcome Mighter Gissing to the growing Radianz network."
