Alan has over 20 years experience in building software companies specialising in developing and marketing high value, high performance packaged software. The founder of numerous start-up software houses, Alan has been instrumental in growing innovative product companies into successful multinational businesses. In 1990 he established a pioneering client-server development company that was acquired by Dodge Group in 1991 and became the foundation of its financial data warehouse architecture. Following the acquisition, Alan established and oversaw the running of Dodge Group's international business in Europe, Japan and Asia.
In 1996 Alan became President and CEO of Dodge group and subsequently grew revenue by 60%, took the company into profitability and led Dodge Group to a private sale in 1998. In 1999 he became a co-founder of Aleri, now an established vector processing data software company in the US and UK.
