BANK OF TOKYO-MITSUBISHI AND TOKYO-MITSUBISHI INTERNATIONAL SELECT REUTERS 3000 XTRA FOR 180 LONDON STAFF

London - Reuters (LSE:RTR), the global information group, announced today that The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi (BTM) and Tokyo-Mitsubishi International plc (TMI), part of the Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group, have selected the latest version of Reuters 3000 Xtra for nearly 180 of its staff in London. As the company's flagship product, Reuters 3000 Xtra will replace and upgrade the existing Reuters Market 3000 product presently with BTM and TMI.

The selection of Reuters 3000 Xtra by BTM and TMI will mean they benefit from the new functionality, greater content and more intuitive navigation introduced to the latest offering. In particular, users will have new functions such as Credit Derivatives and state of the art equity options analytics, the new Xtra Menu giving the full breadth of information and analytics from Reuters and a two-year press archive from more than 550 press sources.

Paul Hansford, Reuters Director Premium Desktop, said, "The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and Tokyo-Mitsubishi International's upgrade to Reuters 3000 Xtra from our Markets 3000 product is another demonstration of client endorsement for our most comprehensive and flexible product. It is the continuation of a pattern of choice for many financial groups globally who see Reuters 3000 Xtra as the only option in the premium desktop market."

Reuters 3000 Xtra is a real-time, high-performance information service for financial professionals. It is used by traders around the world, delivering a full range of real-time, cross asset data and analysis tools.
