Mtivity Chooses InterSystems' CACHÉ as Database Platform for Pioneering Marketing Management Software Solution

Bringing enhancements to the operational efficiency of marketing departments and agencies across the UK, Mtivity, the marketing management software pioneer, has chosen to build its marketing resource management application, pro-M, on the CACHÉ post-relational database from InterSystems.

"We were looking for a scalable high-performance database platform capable of supporting an innovative peer-to-peer model, a combination of hosted and client-server delivery systems and large numbers of distributed users," says Mat Atkinson, Mtivity's CEO. "It was also critical that the chosen solution was able to support large graphics files, provide management of complex value chain relationships and integrate with other enterprise applications."

"In addition, we were confident that CACHÉ's Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology would enable us to reduce both the time and investment necessary to bring our solutions to market," he adds. "In short, we felt it was the best system capable of delivering the level of functionality we required."

CACHÉ post-relational technology features a robust object database, high-performance SQL and multidimensional access. It also includes a powerful object-based dynamic web page generation capability called CACHÉ Server Pages (CSP). This user extensible tag-based development environment makes building complex web applications easier.
