Lord Calum Graham, director of Advent Europe BV, has become a full-time member of Advent's UK operation. Previously he was MD of Lexit Capital UK Ltd, the pan-European direct access electronic trading broker and was responsible for establishing its presence in Europe. He will bring to bear his knowledge of the needs of the financial services sector and his 12 years of experience in institutional sales at Salomon Smith Barney, UBS Warburg and James Capel to support Advent's business development activities in the UK.
Advent Europe co-founder Alf Bringaker has moved to London following his appointment as Regional Director for Advent Europe's UK operation. Alf is bringing his wealth of experience from his pan-European role as Director
of Product Marketing and from his contributions to making both Advent Scandinavia and Advent BeNeLux successes. Prior to co-founding Advent Europe 5 years ago, Alf worked a total of 4 years within the investment management-
and technology industry. Alf also holds a MSc in Computer Science and a Fulbright MBA in Finance.
Wendy Goodrich has joined Advent Europe's London team as Director Geneva Business Unit Europe, to spearhead the European launch of the revolutionary portfolio administration & accounting software GENEVAÂ®. Wendy has 15
years experience from investment management- and investment management software, including Fidelity Investments, Scudder Stevens and Clark, Ropes & Gray and DSTI. Wendy came to Advent Europe from Advent's US operation
where she was Director of Services, based in New York City.
Jeff Sedgwick has joined Advent Europe as Implementation Manager. Before joining Advent, Jeff was Operations Director at London based investment management firm London & Capital where one of his responsibilities was to
oversee their implementation of Advent Office.
To keep up with the demand from a growing client base, Michelle Gange has joined the UK professional services team. Michelle has been working with Advent Australasia for more than 3 years and is an experienced implementation
and training consultant, having managed projects in both Australia and Asia Pacific. Michelle has a strong background in finance and banking with a Bachelor of Economics degree and seven years experience in the Australian financial planning and banking industries, prior to Advent.
The UK team is further strengthened by Meta Leeuwenburgh who is taking the role as the Office Manager, and she will also contribute to marketing activities. Prior to joining Advent Europe Ltd, Meta held a similar position for Advent Benelux.
