Trimedia Changes Its Name to Intermarket Communications

New Identity Better Reflects Focus on Global Financial Market.

New York City – January 2, 2003 – Trimedia, Inc., a leading provider of public relations and marketing services to participants and service providers in global financial markets, has changed its name to Intermarket Communications, effective January 1, 2003.

"For more than 16 years our firm has been dedicated to serving a global roster of companies within the financial services industry," stated Matt Zachowski, Managing Partner and CEO of Intermarket. "Given our single-minded focus, it seemed only natural that our corporate identity should more closely reflect the client community we serve."

"We believe that Intermarket is a brand name that simply and elegantly reflects the defining characteristics of today's global financial community – interlinked, interdependent, international," added Martin Mosbacher, Managing Partner and Chairman of Intermarket. "It is a world underpinned by technology, impacted by increasingly complex client demands and requiring a global strategic vision."

The firm was founded in 1986 by Zachowski and Mosbacher, who along with Managing Partner Andrew Yemma still form Intermarket's senior management team. Intermarket provides a full range of public relations and marketing services to a global roster of clients including commercial and investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, exchanges, alternative trading platforms, and technology and professional service providers to the financial industry. Intermarket ranks among the ten largest U.S. financial public relations agencies according to figures compiled by the Council of Public Relations Firms. It is also one of the few PR agencies of any type to have experienced double-digit revenue growth in each of the past five years.

Intermarket is a founding member of Global Financial Communications Network, GFC/Net, a multinational network linking leading public relations consultancies which serve financial markets around the world. The network's aim is to offer clients access to the best communications skills in the world's primary money markets.
