COSS Appoints Jay Stevens, FLMI, MBA and Chris Kite, MBA to the position of Vice President, Strategic Relations

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, January 17, 2003,
COSS Development Corporation (COSS), a specialist in illustration and point of sale systems for the financial services industry, announced today that Chris Kite, MBA has joined COSS as Vice President, Strategic Relations for the Western region. Chris has over 20 years of experience in helping insurance companies automate their support for financial planning, product illustrations, and policy applications. He has published numerous articles in insurance trade journals and is a frequent speaker at insurance events. He has also served as a technical advisor to the NAIC Life Disclosure Working Group for the Life Insurance Illustration Model. Chris brings knowledge of marketing, actuarial, systems, and regulatory requirements for the insurance business. Chris is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

In his new role with COSS, Chris will lead the Western region sales team. He will also serve as liaison for strategic partner relations between COSS and its partner customers in the Western region.

Jay Stevens, FLMI, MBA has 18 years of experience in the life insurance and technology business. He has been with COSS since 1996. During that time, Jay has served as illustration development project manager and for the past two years, as Regional Sales Vice President for COSS’ Eastern region. Prior to joining COSS, Jay was involved in providing integrated technology tools to the insurance and financial services industry. Jay is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. In his new role, Jay will serve as Vice President, Strategic Relations for the Eastern region. Jay will lead the Eastern region sales team. He will also serve as liaison for strategic partner relations between COSS and its partner customers in the Eastern region.

Announcement of these two promotions was made by John Lundsten, CEO, President and founder of COSS. John said, "It is necessary that COSS go beyond tactile project management and servicing customer needs. It is essential that we foster and maintain a true partnership with our customers. Understanding their plans, objectives and strategic direction is paramount to being a true resource and partner in success. Both Jay and Chris bring a wealth of knowledge and years of experience to the position." Jay and Chris will both work out of COSS’ North Carolina office.
