White Clarke Group & General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) Announce the latest release of the GMAC Response platform with the implementation of the European Point of Sale system into Spain, eighth successful country implementation.
MILTON KEYNES, UK â February 3rd 2003 â Brendan Gleeson Sales and Marketing director of White Clarke Group is pleased to announce the latest successful expansion of the GMAC Response programme. GMAC Financial Services, the captive finance subsidiary of General Motors Corporation, with their technology partner White Clarke Group, has embarked on a ambitious 10 country European Point of Sale strategy focused on the provision of an electronic credit applications process, which enables fast turnaround times with respect to underwriting decisions for the dealers.
In making the announcement, Mr Gleeson said, "We are delighted to see that this technology partnership has lead to GMAC's 'Response' initiative delivering improved profit and greater customer satisfaction.
White Clarke Group has worked with GMAC since 2000. 'Response' is one of the first European roll-outs to be successfully implemented in the industry. It is now operating in the UK, Netherlands, Italy, France, Belgium, Sweden, Hungary and Spain. The system is also in development in Greece and Finland.
