SunGard's Credient Goes Live at ING

NEW YORK, April 2, 2003?SunGard Trading and Risk Systems, an operating group of SunGard (NYSE: SDS), today announced that ING has gone live with the first phase of its implementation of Credient, a comprehensive credit risk management solution delivered via an application service provider (ASP) framework. Credient provides a global, integrated, real-time infrastructure to manage the credit risk of treasury and capital markets business.

As an integrated solution for credit risk management that runs on an Intel architecture, Credient consolidates and provides tools for portfolio analysis and exposure modeling, as well as global and real-time, pre-deal limit checks for control of credit risks. Credient consolidates the full range of credit risk information through Web-based reporting, including exposures, mitigation,
ratings, and portfolio analytics. SunGard is hosting Credient in its European SunGard Availability Services computer centers, providing a fully resilient business continuity service.

ING is also currently using the SunGard Collateral Manager system, which provides extensive capabilities for the management and optimisation of collateral. SunGard has provided business consulting services to ING to assist in designing and establishing ING's collateral management function. The SunGard Collateral 360 methodology provides a framework for the creation of collateral management functions in accordance with industry best practices.
