NFC Consulting Group and Argosy Interactive Develop Additional Online CE Courses

(Chicago, April 2003) – NFC Consulting Group is proud to announce the addition of two new online continuing education courses, Disability Insurance and Long Term Care, to its educational website, www.nfcce.com. These two courses were developed with content provided by Argosy Interactive, a subsidiary of COSS Development Corporation. Through its strategic partnership, NFC Consulting and Argosy are able to offer financial services organizations the opportunity to receive a wide range of important educational topics via online, classroom or textbook format along with complete back office administration and continuing education credits.

"Our expanding partnership with Argosy allows NFC to provide innovative online continuing education solutions to the financial services industry," stated Cindy DiBiase Vogl, NFC's President and CEO. Furthermore, "Argosy's expertly-written insurance content nicely compliments NFC's existing continuing education courses that cover topics such as annuities, 529 plans and retirement and estate planning.".

According to Richard Birch, Argosy Interactive’s Director, "The addition of these latest two courses to NFC's continuing education website allows an ever increasing number of Argosy clients to provide their agents with quality continuing education in an easy-to-use format."

The online continuing education course, Disability Insurance, provides 3-5 hours of continuing education credits, which vary by state. The course provides a detailed review of the basics of disability insurance and addresses concerns related to individuals and businesses. Topics include the need for disability insurance, how the policies work and how they are issued. Broad issues regarding underwriting, defining a disability and riders are also covered. Several case studies provide real life examples that will help financial representatives assist clients in planning a sound financial future.

Long Term Care also provides 3-5 hours of continuing education credits. The objective of this course is to provide financial representatives with a sound understanding of the growing need for Long Term Care insurance, the basics of how it works and some common misconceptions about the product. The goal of this course is to help the learner have a better understanding of the fundamentals of Long Term Care insurance and the need for such planning.
