TRACE DATAWISE ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH CITY CONSULTANTS

Specialist practical Management Consultancy service to aid Trace Datawise Financial's project initiation and implementation process.

London & New York, 17 September 2002. Trace Datawise Financial Ltd, a subsidiary of technology and services group Trace Group Plc, announced today that a formal agreement has been signed with City Consultants, providers of specialist practical management consultancy services to the securities and financial services industries.

This agreement will see the two companies partnering in pre sales project initiation and implementation of sales made by Trace Datawise - of EasyISO15022, a complete back/middle/front office message conversion solution to meet the November 16 2002 change of messaging standards at S.W.I.F.T., and other products due to be launched at SIBOS in Geneva this year.

City Consultants was established in 1988 to meet the market requirement for a practical management consultancy that could make the experience of senior staff available on a project basis. City Consultants has recently joined the Altran Group, Europe's leading high technology consulting company.

Gary Wright, Business Strategist at Trace Datawise Financial said. "This agreement makes great business and financial sense for us. Outsourcing the project initiation and implementation to City Consultants means that we are aware of any unusual or non-standard components within potential clients' systems. These anomalies can be documented by City Consultants, saving us time and money preparing for project implementation. We will be announcing more strategic partnerships in the very near future."

Sharron Thorley, Sales and Marketing Director at City Consultants commented, "Our experience and expertise within the securities and finance industries is where we will add value for Trace Datawise customers. The timely,
efficient and smooth implementation process of EasyISO15022 is key for many players still struggling to get themselves ready for the cut-off date set by SWIFT."
