Brasfield Technology Hires Chief Technology Officer

Birmingham, AL (October 21, 2002) Terry Ray has joined Brasfield Technology, Inc. as chief technology officer. Ray will be responsible for new product development and overseeing system implementations.

Ray is a former software engineering manager for SBS Corporation, a Birmingham-based banking software company. He has also served in leadership roles on enterprise computing projects for BellSouth and ComFrame Software Corporation. Ray has been published in the Oracle Developer Tools User Group (ODTUG) technical journal and was a speaker at the ODTUG national conference in the year 2002. He holds a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Auburn University.

"We have several products in development which will provide new technological capabilities for financial institutions. Our technology creates a more efficient banking process for both the institution and the customer." said Ray.

Brasfield Technology plans to introduce its newest product sometime in the 4th quarter.

"Terry develops products that are beneficial to banks, but at the same time remain easy to operate," said David Brasfield, CEO of Brasfield Technology. "His experience as a developer as well as a manager will provide Brasfield Technology with the technical leadership that will enable us to continue to be successful."
