New York, NY, March 4, 2002 â Centerprise Services, Inc. today announced that Sam Marrone has joined the company as senior advisor and principal. Marrone will assume global responsibility for the companyâs strategic marketing initiative, focusing initially on targeting executive management at top tier investment banks.

Marrone joins Centerprise from ABN AMRO Incorporated in New York where he served as executive vice president, fixed income, North America, building a US fixed income platform complementing and integrating ABM AMROâs global debt capital markets business. He also served on several ABN AMRO North American committees, including their wholesale bank executive management, treasury and fixed income management, fixed income global steering, treasury and fixed income risk and e-commerce steering committees.
He joined ABN AMRO from Barclays De Zoete Wedd in London, a division of Barclays Bank PLC, where from 1994 to 1996 he was CEO of their markets division, co-head of their debt capital markets and a member of the BZW management committee. Mr. Marrone also served as chief executive and managing director of BZW Securities in New York, a Barclays division, where he was asked to build a de novo primary dealer in US government securities. He succeeded in achieving dealer status in 1989.
Prior to Barclays, he also served as managing director at Kidder Peabody, Becker Paribas and First Pennco Securities. He started his career at EDS after serving in the US Marine Corps and holds a Bachelors of Science in engineering from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland.
