Easybroker, a new service which will transform global EQUITY trading, launches

Product will redefine the service offered to retail brokers and provide more efficient, less expensive global Institutional order routing

London: March 12, 2002…Easybroker International launches today, with the first trading system to give small and medium-sized brokerages and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) access to 70 markets around the world from a single electronic account. The service also offers a private network institutional platform for fund managers, regional non-member brokers, proprietary brokers, private banks and central dealing desks.

Easybroker’s Electronic Retail Access (ERA) service for small and medium-sized brokerages and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) can be accessed via telephone and the Internet, providing electronic order routing to over 70 markets. It boasts a set of market and business analysis tools with global coverage, enabling these smaller brokers to offer a broader service to their client base, and effectively "compete" with larger competitors and truly exploit global investment opportunities.

Easybroker is also launching its Electronic Order Network (EON), an institutional brokerage service for fund managers, regional non-member brokers, proprietary brokers, private banks and central dealing desks, through traditional market data systems such as Bloomberg and SunGard Transactional Network.

Through its pioneering technology, Easybroker expect to bring not only greater market access, but also a more cost and time efficient means of order execution. Straight Through Processing (STP) enables trades to be executed almost instantaneously in markets where the technology is available.

The technology underpinning Easybroker offers complete security, and is fully compliant with strict FSA regulations.
