in insurance and banking software, has made a number of key senior appointments to enhance its sales management and strategic partnership capabilities.
Derek Finnerty has joined FINEOS as Senior Vice President for Global Sales and Marketing and will have responsibility for defining and delivering the company's new business development strategy. Prior to his appointment, Finnerty worked in Nortel Networks where he held a number of senior management positions. His most recent role was as Vice-President for Strategic Business Development, focusing on e-business, enterprise outsourcing solutions and content management solutions.
Joe Flynn has been appointed as Senior Vice President for Strategic Alliances with responsibility for developing FINEOS's partner channel strategy, initially focusing on leading global systems integrators. Prior to joining the company, Flynn worked for Horizon Technologies e-business division where he was responsible for developing their SAP and Siebel practices and most recently their managed services solutions offering. Flynn has over 15 years experience working in the enterprise software solutions arena.
