Liz East Joins Citisoft as Senior Consultant

- Liz East's move to Citisoft reflects trend towards specialist consultancies in investment management, away from 'Big Five' multi-disciplinary consultancies.

4th July 2002 - London - Citisoft, the specialist investment management consultancy, has today announced the appointment of Liz East as Senior Consultant. Liz will be responsible for the implementation of operational process and systems solutions to all areas of investment management companies.

Liz joins Citisoft after seven years at DST International, where she held key positions in Europe, US, Australia and Asia Pacific - most recently as Operations Manager in Hong Kong. At DSTi, Liz managed implementations for clients from front to back office. She is highly experienced in business analysis, operational process redesign and client services for high value projects. Liz also brings experience of investment accounting from former positions at Royal & Sun Alliance, and M&G Investment Management.

Liz East comments: "Joining Citisoft gives me the opportunity to move back to a client-facing role and bring my global experience of both operational and systems solutions to Citisoft's international investment management client base."

"Citisoft has a stringent recruitment policy, which requires that all consultants possess a minimum of ten years' industry experience. I am excited to be joining a company that can offer clients such a unique depth of expertise in investment management."

Jonathan Clark, Citisoft Director, comments: "Citisoft's ability to deliver effective business and systems solutions for investment managers derives from the exceptional knowledge base of our consultants. We are pleased to welcome Liz, whose international experience will make a valuable addition to Citisoft's service."

"We have hired several of our consultants from professional service divisions of software vendors and multi-disciplinary consultancies (such as the 'Big Five'). Liz's decision to join us confirms what we feel is a growing trend away from such organisations in favour of independent, specialist consultancies that can offer greater focus and depth of experience."
