The installation gives employees instant access to 40 different broadcast channels. Digital feeds from hoots, television, and Bear Stearns internal public address and television systems are routed from source through Purple Voice's Global Audio software, directly to the users desktops on the corporate data network in real time. Each Global Audio user can listen to multiple channels at any time. The software also includes an audio recording and playback facility.
"In today's climate we need to be able to adapt swiftly to change. Looking at the voice options open to us we were aware of traditional hardware solutions, but through trials we have demonstrated the Purple Voice Global Audio solution to be more flexible. Not only can we now supply our employees with a greater choice of channels, we also eliminate the clutter of extra hardware on the desk", comments Bear Stearns Associate Director, Brian Newsome.
"Being centrally managed, roll out and control is straightforward, the software is implemented rapidly to new users and inherently can provide business continuity from anywhere on the corporate network - even over remote connections."
Barry Bishop, General Manager for Purple Voice Inc. has worked closely with Bear Stearns throughout the project. "I'm sure I speak for the whole project team when I say that seeing the reaction of users to our Global Audio software has been truly rewarding, " he comments. 'Through close planning with the implementation team we were able to provide a smooth roll out with no disruption to users. "
