Lloyd-Davies has joined the company as development manager.
Tim joins from SGB plc where he was Senior Analyst Programmer. In that
position Tim was responsible for the development of SGB CONTEST, a bidding
system used by sales people to automatically generate estimates. In previous
positions at the company Tim was also involved with the earlier stages of
the project, such as presentation of the CONTEST project during the design
phase, and prototype development.
Previous to this, Tim held various technical and development positions at
Pioneer Designs Technical Services Limited. Key projects involved the
development of a networked finance system for the RAF Logistics HQ to aid
desk officers in the management of contracts finance, and the development of
an administration package for a small print works, covering compilation of
quotes, invoices and receipts.
Tim has a Masters Degree in computing, a Post Graduate Diploma in computing
for commerce and industry and a BSc (Hons) in general management. He is also
a qualified programmer, with technical strengths in Object Oriented Design
and Analysis, Structured Methodologies and Microsoft development languages
Tim's role at Kalahari will involve managing the day to day running of the
programming/modelling, implementation and quality assessment areas of the
company. This will include the management of customer projects from
inception to installation and testing.
