In its 14th year, the EMART Energy conference programme is developed in close cooperation with an Advisory Board representing the largest trading companies in Europe. The Board recently met in London to decide on the requirements for the programme and unanimously backed the general theme for the conference:
Managing the European energy transition; can traded markets survive?
This reflects the general opinion that regulation is giving traders a hard time to continue their business.
• Integrating renewable sources
• Capacity markets
• Nuclear exits
• Security of supply
• Financial regulation vs liberalised markets
The conference will present the latest insights for the entire value chain of energy trading professionals; the traders, regulatory affairs managers, risk managers, back office managers and senior management.
EMART Energy is already well-known for its regulatory sessions. This year’s programme will also highlight market-oriented sessions in order to provide an even more attractive event to traders.
In addition Heads of Trading will recommend the ‘dedicated regulatory updates for traders’. These contributions will unlock the latest “must-know’’regulatory information in a practical and relevant way for traders.
