Murex Ranked as a Glassdoor Top 5 France Employer for Second Consecutive Year
Murex, the global leader in trading, risk and processing solutions for capital markets, is thrilled to announce that for the second consecutive year it has been ranked as one of the Top 5 organizations to work for in France by Glassdoor.
The Glassdoor 2021 Best Places to Work ranking, released this month, is based on team member feedback submitted anonymously to the career search and company rating site. The information covers eight attributes, including employee experience, work environment, culture and values and the organization in its entirety.
Murex culture and values, senior management approval and CEO approval ratings are standouts in the Glassdoor rankings. Murex also scored especially high in company diversity. Murex’s workforce is truly global—over 70 nationalities are represented in the company, which has approximately 2,400 team members. Half of them are based in the global hub in Paris.
Murex is a private company with decades of industry leadership. The company remains guided by a long-term vision directed by hands-on founders in the rapidly evolving financial technology sector. Team members working in every part of the business constantly overcome stimulating challenges in an environment where they are encouraged to be true to themselves. Additionally, Murex has emphasized close and sustained investment in its team members’ personal and professional growth.
Relying on voluntarily submitted, anonymous data from the extended Murex team member base makes the reward especially gratifying, according to company leadership.
"Years of developing agile methodology and a strong, thriving company culture guided by intense collaboration and close teamwork helped us meet the challenge of the past year,” Murex CEO Maroun Eddé said. “Murex is a place where great people can learn from one another in an environment that nurtures growth, and this recognition from Glassdoor is a welcome highlight of our ongoing efforts.”
Murex is actively recruiting
engineers, consultants and analysts in Paris and in 16 other offices around the world, focused on growing a winning team now and into the future. Glassdoor’s distinction makes Murex honored to provide a working environment where Murexians are and feel valued, and where growth is the norm. Ninety-five percent of Murex respondents to Glassdoor would recommend the company to a friend. The team at Murex is passionate about its work, and the company has a strong history of putting people—its greatest asset—first.
The recognition is a welcome one as Murex begins a new chapter in its history with a move to a consolidated global hub in a comprehensively revitalized facility in the west of Paris. The extensively retrofitted hub can host the entire Paris-based Murex workforce and will open in a controlled, actively monitored way. More detailed information on the space is forthcoming.
The entire organization looks forward to inaugurating a new building and base optimally calibrated to collaboration, where longtime Murexians and new joiners can thrive together under one roof. Going forward, Murex is well-positioned for the future of work.
