Planixs to host global webinar with leading industry experts to discuss regulatory challenges for smaller banking firms

Planixs, the leading provider of real-time, intraday cash, collateral and liquidity management solutions will be hosting an exclusive global webinar in February to discuss the regulatory challenges currently facing smaller banking firms.

Taking place on 26th February at 14:00 GMT (15:00 CET), the webinar will see industry experts Simon Moreton, Managing Director at Pinnacle Partners, and Jim Coleman, the Head of Treasury at PCF Bank, discuss the obstacles facing smaller banking firms when it comes to managing liquidity and satisfying regulatory requirements.

Joining us from treasury consultant firm, Pinnacle Partners, Simon is a specialist in all aspects of treasury, including capital and liquidity requirements, treasury operational and cash management processes and liquidity stress scenarios. He has considerable experience in the management of all treasury aspects on a global basis, having held senior treasury roles, and has also been instrumental in the preparation of all treasury and funding requirements for the IPO of a major brokerage house.

PCF’s Jim Coleman will be providing insight from the perspective of banking firms. Jim has a track record of delivery in treasury, risk, and investment, along with a strong corporate governance ethos and over 30 years' experience across a variety of financial services businesses in the banking and building society sectors.

The webinar will also include a ‘first-look’ at the company’s recently launched Realiti® Essentials solution - out-of-the-box treasury software for smaller banking firms.

Realiti Essentials is a combination of Planixs’ Intraday Liquidity Management module, Regulatory Reporting suite, and Intraday Stress Modelling solution, and covers all the needs of a smaller bank for a low cost, fixed monthly fee. The solution uses standard SWIFT intraday statements from correspondent banks to provide an all-inclusive response for intraday regulatory compliance.

With Realiti Essentials, smaller banking firms can now implement a proven solution in a handful of weeks with no impact to existing IT infrastructures, which delivers BCBS 248 regulatory reporting, controls intraday liquidity in real time and enables stress testing of liquidity under various intraday stress scenarios.
