Associated Press selects Fincons Group to help design and implement new distribution platform

Fincons Group, a leading international IT business consultancy, is proud to announce that The Associated Press has selected them to help assess the transformation of their content distribution platform and systems to address the evolving needs of current and future customers.

Fincons Group intends to introduce new capabilities that help AP serve the world’s appetite for accurate, fair, fact-based reporting with improved processes to manage content and engage users.

Fincons Group has 35 years of presence in the Media and Entertainment industry. They will propose new processes and integrate best-of-breed solutions into AP’s technology landscape, tailoring them to fit AP’s unique needs and working with AP’s technology department to supercharge and scale AP’s distribution platform.
With offices in Italy, Switzerland, the UK and the US, Fincons Group has been at the forefront of integrating and developing new platforms for media businesses and enabling business transformation for its clients.
To find out more about how AP and Fincons Group are working together to design a new delivery model, come and hear Francesco Moretti, Deputy CEO Fincons Group and CEO Fincons US at Fincons Group and Gianluca D’Aniello, Chief Technology Officer at Associated Press, at NAB (CMIP Debate Theatre SU10804CM) on Wednesday, April 11th at 10.30am, or visit Fincons Group at booth SU13302CM.

Francesco Moretti, Deputy CEO Fincons Group and CEO Fincons US comments: “We’re proud to announce that an internationally acclaimed business like AP has acknowledged our expertise and has entrusted us with such a business-critical project. By overhauling the way content is packaged and delivered to customers, AP is stepping up to the challenge of keeping up with evolving customer demand. We are delighted to use our experience in delivering integrated and strategic business transformation to help AP keep abreast of this revolution.”
Gianluca D’Aniello, Chief Technology Officer at the Associated Press comments: “There has been huge disruption to the way news is consumed over the past few years with more and more new models of fruition over new digital platforms. The industry needs to respond to this revolution and shift the way it operates from a content-centric approach to a more client-centric model in a transformation process that covers new product development, delivery and customer engagement. We’re delighted to have Fincons Group on board and to call upon their extensive experience in designing and delivering cutting-edge platform architecture.”
