GBST appoints Darren Bayley as Head of Business Development for EMEA

GBST, which provides wealth administration software through its GBST Composer® platform, has appointed Darren Bayley as Head of Business Development for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Darren will lead GBST’s business development activities across these regions, reporting to David Simpson, Head of EMEA. He joins from SEI Investments where he was UK Business Development Director (Wealth Platform) with responsibility for SEI’s business development activities across retail banks, major advisory firms, asset managers and D2C Investment platforms to effectively position the SEI Wealth Platform and outsourcing services. He has spent nearly twenty years in financial services and technology, including roles at Standard Life, Focus Solutions Group Plc, Marlborough Stirling Group and Synaptic Systems.

David Simpson commented on the appointment: “Darren brings a wealth of experience to GBST and his deep market knowledge will be invaluable as we extend our customer base across financial services.
