Vallstein, the leading software provider for Bank Relationship Management solutions has won the Fintech Innovation Award 2016 in London for “Innovation in Treasury”

Vallstein won the award with its WalletSizing® system which allows corporate treasuries and finance departments to make their bank costs completely transparent. The jury was impressed by the innovative approach to bank relationship management which allows corporates to analyse and understand how profitable they are for all their banks across all products.

“WalletSizing is a system which is unique, as it is the only system on the market that allows corporates to truly understand what they are worth to banks in light of all new banking capital rules like Basel III out there. WalletSizing is innovative, very user friendly, easy to implement and available as Software as a Service (SaaS).”
Vallstein has also recently signed a global partnership agreement with KPMG, as the company wants to have more clients benefit from the system through the network of KPMG. The agreement has been signed in the beginning of March and will be rolled out over the course of the next few months, starting in Germany.
Some articles on the Fintech Innovation Awards 2016 and the KPMG Partnership:

Last year, WalletSizing® added a bank fee analysis module, which allows corporates to also reconcile their cash management fees with their original price agreements. According to Vallstein, this is a good extra piece of functionality which is more operational and can act as a starting point for bank relationship management. With the slow standardisation of TWIST/CAMT.086 as an invoice for banks this extra module makes it easier for corporates to check their cash management fees.

The true innovation and strategic value of a system like WalletSizing® is the complete system with its WalletSizing® methodology which allows to upload all bank costs (FX, Cash Management, Lending, insurance, M&A, Bonds, etc.) and let the system calculate the complete Banking Wallet, split by entity, country and bank. How much does each bank make on the corporate and more importantly, what is the profitability that each bank has on the corporate, using the latest regulations like Basel III to calculate the capital requirements for the banks.
