Misys, the leading financial software company, is competing for the title of ‘UK National Public Champion’ in this year’s European Business Awards. 32 UK National Champions are going head-to-head as the awards opened to public vote this week.
Nadeem Syed, Chief Executive Officer, Misys says: “As the only member of the FinTech industry in the awards the public vote means a great deal. The FinTech sector represents a vibrant source of innovation and talent in the UK and we are looking to our customers, partners, employees and the wider industry to support our success.”
Misys was originally selected as a National Champion in recognition of Misys Connect, the client engagement model the company developed in 2014. Misys Connect comprises 10 value-added complimentary programmes designed to help Misys customers drive competitive advantage and maximise the return on their technology investments. Misys has already connected over 930 clients to at least one programme and have numerous examples from around the world of Misys Connect leading to increased levels of customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Voting is open until 26 February 2016.
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said: “Last year the public vote generated over 170,000 votes from across the world. It is a very important part of the Awards as it gives these entrepreneurial companies another way of showcasing their achievements.”
He continued: “So we ask everyone wanting to support their country or business in general to take some time, watch the videos, and cast their vote.”
