Enhancement Delivers Embedded Expertise to Help Ensure Compliant Documentation
Today Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced the integration of StateLink® into their VMP® Mortgage E-Form solution. The new functionality, which was introduced to existing customers in January, will be made available for all new customers moving forward.
The StateLink integration provides users with a PDF Sample Forms library to view all Mortgage E-Forms and available packages. Sample forms include form descriptions, field ‘help text’, most current control date, version, and reason for changes, improving the process for identifying, implementing and setting up forms.
StateLink also includes state and federal legislative changes impacting mortgage lending, such as advertising regulations, escrows, foreclosures, state licenses, and notary requirements, helping users stay up to date on relevant changes. Last year there were nearly 145,000 pieces of legislation introduced, and Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ subject matter experts and attorneys monitor and review these legislative updates to assess the impact on mortgage lending and provide summaries.
“The voice of the customer is integral to everything we do,” said Art Tyszka, general manager of Residential Lending for Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. “This integration is a great example of work that is an outcome of us always listening to our customers for ways to improve our mortgage-related products and services.”
Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ Residential Lending business develops compliance management solutions that leverage comprehensive regulatory and risk management content to help banks, credit unions and mortgage lenders originate mortgage transactions quickly, accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations. The company’s compliance documentation, software and services help mitigate risk and ensure new laws and regulations are embedded within their mortgage business operations. Other prominent brands from Wolters Kluwer Financial Services include Expere®, VMP® Mortgage Solutions, SDX Secure Document Exchange, and CompliSource.
