Industry Veteran Pieter Stal joins Jumio as Senior Vice President EMEA Sales

Jumio, Inc., the fast growing payments and ID credentials management company, today announces the appointment of Pieter Stal as Senior Vice President of Sales in the EMEA region. Pieter brings over 20 years of experience in the ecommerce, payment and technology industries with specialities in the retail, travel, digital and financial service verticals.  Based in the Netherlands, Pieter will lead new customer development efforts across the region.   

 “Pieter’s experience of payments, fraud and technology, combined with his industry relationships and extensive knowledge of the EMEA geographies, makes him the perfect choice to bring Jumio’s products to a wider audience, said Mike Orlando, Chief Sales Officer, Jumio.

For the past 9 years Pieter served at payments company Global CollectTM in various sales roles and most recently as Executive Vice President  of Global Account Management & Vertical Markets. Prior to that Pieter held roles at KPN Telecom and TNT Express. Pieter gained his Masters of Law at the University of Utrecht and also holds an MBA from the University of Santa Clara, California, USA
