NASDAQ OMX (NASDAQ: NDAQ) announces that the trading in Polyplank AB (POLY) shares commenced today on First North at NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. Polyplank was previously listed at Aktietorget. Polyplank belongs to the Basic Materials sector and is the first company to be admitted to trading on First North’s Nordic markets (Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Iceland) in 2014.
Polyplank manufactures various products using proprietary recyclable composite material composed of recycled thermoplastic resins and organic fibers. The granules can be used for traditional string and injection molding, and since all of Polyplank's products are recyclable, the material can be reused. Polyplank was founded in 1994 as a result of several years of product research and development. The Polyplank production plant has been located in Färjestaden since 2008.
“We are excited to welcome Polyplank as this year’s first listing on First North,” said Adam Kostyal, Senior Vice President at NASDAQ OMX. “Polyplank is one of many exciting growth companies that have opted to trade their shares at First North, one of Europe’s most liquid growth markets.”
Polyplank has appointed Mangold Fondkommission AB as Certified Adviser.
