Multifonds, a leader in single-platform, multi-jurisdictional investment fund software, is delighted to announce it has won Best Provider for Fund Administrators in the Transfer Agency category at the Global Custodian Awards for Excellence 2013.
Announced during a prestigious awards event at the Harvard Club, New York City, the Global Custodian Awards for Excellence recognise the firms bringing change to the international securities services industry through innovation.
Oded Weiss, Multifonds CEO, said: “We’re proud to receive this accolade from Global Custodian. The award recognises the considerable investment we have made into extending the Multifonds platform to fully support alternatives, including partnership accounting, performance fees, equalization and series of shares accounting. This investment addresses a clear need of our clients to process traditional and alternative funds from one platform, and as a result, uniquely positions Multifonds as the single platform to achieve this.”
“Our clients are consolidating their operations onto our platform across all investment types, and in doing so are able to achieve greater operational efficiencies through implementation of a consistent operating model – reducing their total cost of ownership and delivering consistent reporting to both managers and investors."
The Multifonds platform today handles global assets exceeding $3.5trillion across more than 30 fund jurisdictions and also encompasses portfolio accounting and fund accounting capabilities. Its approach to portfolio accounting is unique in that it combines the Investment Book of Records (IBOR) and Accounting Book of Records (ABOR) on a common platform, sharing the same static data and providing start-of-day position and real-time cash flow projection capabilities.
