Markit, a leading, global financial information services company, today announced that it has won Global Custodian’s inaugural award for the most innovative market data provider.
Markit was recognised for the breadth of its data and its processing offering, which spans securities finance, reference data, corporate actions and OTC trade processing and services custodians, prime brokers and administrators around the world.
For the first time, the editors of Global Custodian extended their awards programme to recognise the technology firms supporting the securities services market. The winners of each category were announced and honoured alongside Global Custodian’s annual survey awards at the 2013 Global Custodian Awards for Excellence event.
