In Q3 2013 both marketplaces, XONTRO and Equiduct, reached a turnover of € 12.4 billion, a plus of almost 16% compared to Q2 2013 (€ 10.7 billion). In the same period of time the number of trades amounted to 1.5 million, an increase of around 5% (1.4 million in Q2 2012).
Xontro turnover reached € 2.6 billion in Q3 2012, a decrease of 3.7% (Q2 2013: € 2.7 billion). Trades decreased by 23.6% to 37,784 (Q2 2013: 49,487).
Equiduct, the Pan-European trading platform with a premium Best Execution service, achieved a quarterly turnover of € 9.8 billion in Q3, an increase of 22.5% in comparison with Q2 2013 (€ 8.0 billion). The number of trades rose by almost six per cent, from 1.35 million to 1.43 million.
Börse Berlin unites two market places under one roof. Next to Xontro, the traditional trading system of all German regional exchanges, Börse Berlin operates a fully electronic European market place under the brand Equiduct.
