Will Dolan Named Head of Fidelity ActionsXchange

Fidelity ActionsXchange, Inc. today announced that it has named Will Dolan as its new leader.

Fidelity ActionsXchange provides an award-winning* technology platform combined with high quality and timely information for complex global corporate actions and related market events.

Prior to his new position at Fidelity ActionsXchange, Dolan served as senior vice president, brokerage products for Fidelity Institutional, the division of Fidelity Investments® that provides clearing, custody and investment management products to registered investment advisors, banks, broker-dealers and family offices. He previously held roles in Fidelity Capital Markets and National Financial®, Fidelity’s clearing division, since joining Fidelity in 2004. In National Financial, he served as senior vice president, international/institutional product management, where he led the cross-Fidelity international brokerage program aimed at expanding Fidelity’s global capabilities, including the creation of Fidelity Clearing Canada, in Toronto.

Dolan reports to Janice Morris, executive vice president, who leads the Advanced Electronic Market Solutions organization for Fidelity Institutional; Morris reports directly to Fidelity Institutional president Gerard McGraw. She and her team are responsible for developing advanced trading and data services focused on improving execution quality across the marketplace.

“Will brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role,” said Morris. “Under his leadership, Fidelity ActionsXchange will continue to build its reputation as a trusted source for comprehensive, accurate and timely corporate action data and further develop innovative products and services.”

Prior to joining Fidelity, Dolan held senior positions with Knight Capital Group and the American Institutes for Research (AIR). Regarding his new position at Fidelity ActionsXchange, Dolan said, “I am committed to putting my energy to work for our clients, one of which is Fidelity Investments. Given our affiliation with Fidelity, we are in a unique competitive position to test new technology and services early and move quickly to provide what clients need.”
