Capco Named to 2013 Best Small & Medium Workplaces List by Great Place to Work® Institute

Leading consulting firm continues to be recognized for commitment to employee satisfaction, workplace culture

Capco, the global business and technology consultancy dedicated solely to the financial services industry, today announced it has been ranked as one of the best small and medium workplaces in the United States by Great Place to Work®. The annual list, published in FORTUNE Magazine, was compiled following a rigorous selection process which included an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about benefits programs and company practices. Ranked #21, this is the first time Capco has received this honor.

Since its founding, Capco has recognized the importance of its workplace culture and continuously strives to build and maintain an environment that enables creativity, innovation, diversity and authenticity. Capco invests in its employees through multiple learning and development programs, and ensures that employees of all levels have a direct internal impact by measuring engagement throughout the year through multiple surveys and direct, one-on-one interaction with managers.

“This distinction speaks to our incredible employees and their dedication to build and grow an innovative and authentic workplace,” said Ismail Amla, CEO of Capco North America. “Employee satisfaction directly relates to the great work we provide to our clients, and we look forward to continuing to provide a work environment where members of Capco can feel empowered, challenged and energized.”

In addition to its ranking by the Great Place to Work Institute, Capco was recently recognized by Consulting Magazine as one of the Best Firms to Work For in 2013, marking its third consecutive year on the list. Following its debut on the list in 2011, Capco has steadily climbed from the 14th position, to its current placement of 12th. Consulting Magazine’s annual ranking is compiled based on the results of an online survey conducted over the summer.
