New Application Brings Alfresco into Case Management & Business Process Markets
Alfresco, the open platform for business-critical content management and collaboration, today announced - a new application on the Alfresco enterprise content platform that is focused on streamlining document-centric business processes, such as claims processing, HR employee on-boarding, mailroom automation, deal management and loan origination. This is the first Alfresco offering based on the WeWebU acquisition made earlier this year.
Alfresco Workdesk has already helped customers save money by making processes more efficient, increasing employee and customer satisfaction. Alfresco Workdesk is currently deployed in finance and banking, insurance, government and high-tech manufacturing including M&A and project management.

Available today as an enterprise subscription from Alfresco, Alfresco Workdesk is built on the Content Management Interoperability Servies (CMIS) standard and is offered as a full-featured browser-based app, a desktop integration or as a native iOS application for mobile devices.
