Bayerngas GmbH, Munich Selects Allegro Development Energy Trading and Risk Management Solution

German Energy Company to Manage Natural Gas Sales & Trading with Allegro 8

Allegro Development Corporation, a leading provider of energy trading and risk management (ETRM) software, announced today that Bayerngas GmbH, Munich selected the Allegro 8 platform to manage its natural gas marketing operations.

Bayerngas is a fully integrated natural gas sales & trading company that operates a communal gas procurement platform for its municipal shareholders and customers; purchases natural gas across the procurement chain; and is actively involved in the exploration and production sector with operations spanning across Central Europe, Scandinavia and the UK.

Bayerngas sought a solution to replace a number of in-house and legacy systems used for marketing activities across natural gas, environmental markets and oil products. Leveraging the Allegro 8 platform, users now have the capability to manage trading, risks, logistics, settlement and accounting on a single platform with seamless workflows across the organization allowing managers real-time, holistic views of the business.
