Fulcrum goes live with SS&C’s Recon™

Independent Asset Manager benefits from a rapid return on investment when implementing SS&C's reconciliation solution

SS&C Technologies (NASDAQ: SSNC), a global provider of investment and financial software-enabled services and software, today announced that Fulcrum Asset Management LLP, a London-based independent asset management company, has gone live on Recon™ to improve operational efficiency and support growth.

Fulcrum replaced largely manual reconciliation processes including settlement-date cash-balance reconciliations, trade-date cash, transactions and holdings reconciliations across multiple asset classes. With Recon, Fulcrum uses an automated, integrated solution to support the different stages of the reconciliation lifecycle. Recon’s sophisticated exception management capabilities improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs.

“We introduced SS&C’s Recon to streamline our reconciliation process across the firm which has proved effective in controlling operational risks whilst giving enhanced scalability as we continue to grow our business,” said Sean Onyett, Investment Operations Manager, Fulcrum Asset Management. “We like the fact that we are purchasing a proven reconciliation system which has the flexibility to be customised to meet our business needs by SS&C’s experienced consultants.”

“We are delighted to welcome Fulcrum as a client, an asset manager who focuses on best-in-class technology and workflow for its operations,” said Dave Reid, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, International, SS&C Technologies. “The Fulcrum management team leveraged SS&C’s technology and expertise to provide an enterprise-wide view of critical business activities and respond quickly and effectively to evolving market needs.”
