Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (PBB) has selected STERCI’s Service Bureau (SSB) to outsource its SWIFT financial messaging. After a review of several RFP responses, PBB looked to Sterci’s SSB due to its vast experience and professionalism in the field of messaging, its speed to market capability and its cost/value ratio in terms of requirements. Advanced business coverage (messaging, AML, Target2), consolidation of SSB’s extended product offering for future projects (reconciliation, data transformation, market data management) and ongoing successful certification also contributed to this selection.
Sebastian Schmitz, Head of Workflow & Central Services: "We chose the Sterci SSB solution to reduce costs and operational risk by spreading it on the shoulders of an experienced team of dedicated specialists. In addition, by changing our former messaging system to GTExchange, our business users have gained in efficiency by using an intuitive and user friendly interface whilst continuing to access familiar functionalities."
Jörg Ganz, Sales Account Manager at Sterci commented: “We thank PBB to decide after a rigorous evaluation to come and work with Sterci as its favoured partner. This project allowed us to optimize the SSB in terms of Target2 business coverage and adaption to the German market requirements.”
Sterci’s hosted Service Bureau solution helps reduce IT infrastructure costs and improve scalability across the enterprise, thereby increasing business efficiencies and allowing clients to focus resources upon core value propositions and revenue generation. Relying on the SSB results in immediate benefits for any corporate by drastically reducing SWIFT infrastructure costs, offloading the management and optimisation of the global infrastructure, addressing tighter risk management and regulatory requirements and sharing resource overheads.
All Sterci GTSuite products are available as an on-demand service through the Sterci Service Bureau.
