SSP, a leading global provider of insurance technology, today announced that it has promoted Nick Whiting to the role of business development manager within its insurer division.
Whiting will have specific responsibility for delivering solution requirements to the buoyant managing general agent (MGA) sector in the UK and adding to the 19 customers SSP already has within that community.
Whiting has been with SSP for nine years and his knowledge and understanding of the industry and the challenges facing MGAs and their customers will help him to hit the ground running.
In his previous business development role, Whiting demonstrated his ability to maintain and develop robust business relationships with key accounts. This proven talent will be a major factor in helping him to succeed in his new position and continue to build SSP’s presence in the MGA sector which now accounts for around 10% of the UK’s premium income.
