Bottomline Technologies Named the ‘Best Company to Work For’ by Thames Valley Business Magazine

Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY) today announced that the company has been chosen by Thames Valley Business Magazine as the ‘Best Company to Work For 2011.’ The annual competition recognises organisations whose clear direction, innovative practices and employee engagement places them at the top of all employers in the Thames Valley. Bottomline were also finalists for ‘Business of the Year’.

Each year, Thames Valley Business Magazine judges identify organisations from across the region as a “Best Company to Work For.” They recognise companies that demonstrate excellent communication channels, promoting a friendly and open culture that creates a positive working experience. The award sponsors cited Bottomline’s commitment to its employees and its professional and enjoyable working environment as the key factors in the award selection.

“On the back of winning the Institute of Customer Services’ National Customer Leadership Award earlier in the year, we are honoured and thrilled to be recognised by Thames Valley Business Magazine as the ‘Best Company to Work For,’” said Nigel Savory, Managing Director, EMEA Bottomline Technologies. “Our employees’ talent, dedication, passion and commitment to the success of our customers are a source of tremendous pride, a competitive advantage and the key driver behind our continued growth.”

Bottomline, which has offices around the world, has also received similar accolades in the United States, including the recent recognition of its Portsmouth, New Hampshire Headquarters as a “Best Company to Work For” finalist for the fourth year in a row, as well as one of the top two large company employers for 2011, in an annual competition sponsored by Business NH Magazine.
