SIX Securities Services – the Zurich-based global post-trade services provider – today announced the opening of Colombia as a new market for its customers as well as plans to open Cyprus by October of this year.
Adding to the six new markets that it announced in January of this year – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Egypt, Israel, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Peru – SIX Securities Services has just opened Colombia for its customers and will go live with Cyprus in early October 2011.
SIX Securities Services offers a wide range of tailor-made services in 65 markets around the world. The launch of these new markets reflects SIX Securities Services’ ongoing commitment to providing its clients with the tools and capabilities necessary to execute their global strategies.
Nino Ciganovic, Head of Global Sales & Network Management, SIX Securities Services, commented: "This expansion underscores our continuing commitment to the increasing demands of our clients as they further internationalize their businesses. Our constant challenge is to increase and maintain access to as many markets as our customers need. This – in addition to our launch of six markets in January – is a natural step further in that direction.”
