FircoSoft, the leading global provider of watch list filtering solutions and its partner ClaveLink, announced today that Banco Do Brasil will enhance its existing FircoSoft solution with a new centralized filtering platform capable of filtering any incoming or outgoing message type.
Since 2007, Banco Do Brasil, the largest financial institution in Brazil, has been utilizing FircoSoft’s watchlist filtering solution, Firco Continuity for SWIFT Alliance Access. The solution filters in real time all SWIFT payment messages to ensure sanctions compliance. Early next year, Banco Do Brasil will implement the new centralized platform after the implementation of SWIFT Alliance Access Version 7.0.
“We look forward to implementing the next phase of FircoSoft’s solution to centralize the screening of multiple message types to improve our risk and sanctions controls,” said Gilberto Pacheco, Head of International Products of Banco Do Brasil.
“This new achievement is the result of our successful and long term partnership with ClaveLink,” said Laurent Corbel, Business Unit Director of FircoSoft. “We are also delighted to be working again with Banco Do Brasil to help them remain compliant and expand their risk protection with our centralized filtering platform.”
