GROUPAMA AM centralised market data management using Sterci’s KEYdata

Sterci France, the French subsidiary of the leading International software vendor of SOA solutions for STP, today announced that GROUPAMA Asset Management has been live with KEYdata for market data integration and centralisation of their securities master file since January 2011.

In Asset Management and Private Banking the quality of financial data plays a key role in business decisions. Many feeds (internal and external) have to be cleansed, integrated and reconciled in heterogeneous referential systems at front, middle and back-office levels. With KEYdata, the centralisation of data feeds into a single tool which loads, controls, decodes, stores and dispatches data to all the back end systems, thereby providing a natural solution to complex data management. This architecture limits the redundancy of information as the central data repository acts as master in a master/slave model with the other systems.

Serge Mervaud, Director Support Activities in GROUPAMA AM, comments: "GROUPAMA AM has choosen KEYdata from STERCI after a selection process where several vendors where invited. KEYdata was the best fit for our requirements thanks to its robustness, its scalability, and the business expertise of the STERCI Team."

Robert Lewis, Product Manager KEYdata says: "The knowledge transfer phase from the STERCI team to the GROUPAMA AM project team has been smooth and swift. Thanks to this project the customer has rationalised and drastically improved the quality and consistency of its data enterprise-wide".

Philippe Modai, director STERCI France adds : "we are delighted to see that our product suite perfectly fits with the requirements of Asset Managers. GROUPAMA AM is currently using three STERCI products: KEYdata, Stematch and Steform".
