Legg Mason Global Asset Management goes live on Kurtosys Systems’ mobile platform for asset managers

Kurtosys Systems Limited today announced that Legg Mason Global Asset Management has gone live on Kurtosys Mobile, a fully integrated platform which will enable investors to track their investments and keep abreast of the latest market developments at just a touch of a button.

The Legg Mason app provides investors with regular market updates, links to latest market commentary, fund prices, videos and webcasts. The app is available for Apple iOS, Blackberry and Google Android devices.

Kurtosys has invested to bring together an experienced team of mobile technology experts and fully integrated Kurtosys Mobile within their client communications platform; Kurtosys are firmly at the cutting edge of mobile communications in the financial sector. Smart phone usage grew by 70% in 2010 and considering that 23% of all time spent online is now via a mobile phone, Kurtosys Mobile is a timely development to help asset managers communicate with their customers.
